La UGR y el deporte
Visto y leído en granadinos.com. Del 9 al 12 de mayo:
El Campeonato de España Universitario reunirá la próxima semana en Granada a 1.500 deportistas de 60 universidades de toda España en busca de los títulos nacionales universitarios de ajedrez, judo, rugby, balonmano y voleibol. En la presentación, el ayuntamiento ofreció a la Universidad su apoyo para organizar en el futuro una 'Universiada'.
El ajedrez se disputará de lunes a jueves en la Sala Neomudéjar de la Facultad de Biblioteconomía. El balonmano femenino tendrá su sede en el Pabellón II de Fuentenueva, mientras que el masculino se disputará en el pabellón de Aynadamar. El Palacio de los Deportes será el escenario de las competiciones de judo el lunes y martes. El rugby 7 femenino utilizará el campo de rugby de la Ciudad Deportiva Diputación, que junto al campo de Fuentenueva albergará la competición masculina. El voleibol femenino intentará hacerse con el título en el pabellón del Campus de Cartuja, mientras que el masculino usará el Pabellón I de Fuentenueva para el desarrollo de la competición.
Siempre me preguntaré por qué el ajedrez es considerado un deporte si sólo conlleva actividad mental y no física.
Creí que por fín vería un campeonato de Atletismo después de tanto en casa pero me quedo con las ganas, se lo han llevado a Málaga.
Preguntarse porque el Ajedrez es considerado deporte, denota perfectamente que el conocimiento que se tiene del ajedrez esta a 0 grados kelvin.
Por otro lado, mis felicidades a Ibarra, flamante estudiante de Derecho de la Universidad de Granada, campeon individual de ajedrez.
